  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

    Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ cup beef broth or water
  • Chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic: Add diced onion and sauté until soft, then stir in garlic.
  3. Cook beef: Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add spices and vegetables: Stir in bell pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook briefly.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients: Add black beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, honey, and broth. Simmer until thickened.
