Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Cups Mini Marshmallows
- 1 3-ounce box of Jello (any color)
- ½ Cup Boiling Water
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Spray an 8×8 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and set it aside for later use.
- Dissolve Jello Powder: Place the jello powder in a medium mixing bowl and carefully add the boiling water. Whisk lightly until the powder is fully or nearly dissolved.
- Add Marshmallows and Microwave: Add the mini marshmallows to the bowl with dissolved jello mixture. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
- Whisk Mixture Smooth: Remove the bowl from the microwave and whisk the mixture again until there are no lumps of marshmallow remaining, ensuring a smooth texture.
- Chill Until Set: Pour the smooth gelatin and marshmallow mixture into the prepared pan. Place it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until the mixture is fully set.
- Remove the Set Jello: Gently lift one corner and slowly peel the set jello out of the pan to avoid tearing.
- Roll the Jelly: Carefully roll the gelatin sheet into a tight tube similar to rolling cinnamon rolls. Place it back in the pan and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to firm up the shape.
- Slice the Roll Ups: Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into ½ inch thick pieces in a single downward motion, avoiding a sawing motion to keep the pieces intact.
- Serve and Enjoy: Arrange the slices on a serving plate and enjoy this playful, chewy dessert.
