- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, oil, and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisk until smooth.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold until combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Bake: Pour batter into the pan, spread evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
