Ingredients
Scale
Fruit
- 1 cup red seedless grapes, washed and dried
- 1 cup green seedless grapes, washed and dried
Dairy
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
Nuts & Seeds
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
Seasonings & Others
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Toothpicks for serving
Instructions
- Form cheese balls: Roll the softened goat cheese into small balls, approximately 1 teaspoon each in size, creating enough to match the number of grapes you have.
- Insert grapes: Press one seedless grape into the center of each goat cheese ball, then shape the cheese around the grape to fully coat it, ensuring the grape is completely enclosed.
- Prepare nut mixture: In a small bowl, combine the chopped pecans, chopped pistachios, finely chopped rosemary, and black pepper, mixing them evenly.
- Coat cheese-covered grapes: Roll each goat cheese-covered grape in the nut mixture until it is evenly and thoroughly coated on all sides for texture and flavor.
- Drizzle honey: Just before serving, lightly drizzle each coated bite with honey to add a touch of sweetness.
- Serve: Insert toothpicks into each bite-sized piece to make them easy to pick up and enjoy, then arrange on a platter for presentation.
Notes
- You can substitute goat cheese with cream cheese or blue cheese for a different flavor profile.
- To make ahead, assemble and refrigerate the bites without the honey drizzle, adding the honey just before serving to maintain freshness and texture.
