Chicken:
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
Sauce and Pasta:
- 1 (16 oz) bottle garlic Parmesan sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese (cubed)
- 12 ounces uncooked pasta (rotini or penne)
Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Place in a greased slow cooker.
- Cook the Chicken: Add minced garlic, garlic Parmesan sauce, and chicken broth. Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
- Shred and Add Cheese: Shred chicken, add cream cheese and Parmesan, stirring until melted.
- Cook Pasta: Cook pasta separately and add to slow cooker.
- Combine and Serve: Stir to combine all ingredients. Let sit for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
