- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Cream Cheese Layer:
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened, divided into two 8 oz blocks)
Instructions
- Cranberry Topping: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugars, water, orange juice, and zest. Cook until thickened, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in jalapeño, cilantro, and salt. Cool completely.
- Assembly: Spread softened cream cheese on a platter. Spoon cranberry mixture over the top. Serve with crackers or bread.
Notes
- Make the cranberry topping up to 3 days ahead and store in the fridge.
- For a spicier kick, leave some jalapeño seeds in.
- Goat cheese or whipped feta can be used instead of cream cheese for a different flavor.
