Description

This Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce is a flavorful, spicy butter blend perfect for enhancing seafood, chicken, steak, or vegetables. Made with aromatic garlic, a blend of Cajun spices, and fresh parsley, this buttery sauce is quick to prepare on the stovetop and adds a rich, zesty kick to any dish.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter carefully to avoid burning.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, making sure it does not brown to prevent bitterness.
  3. Add Spices: Stir in the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, and optional cayenne pepper. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes to allow the flavors to blend well.
  4. Finish Sauce: Stir in the lemon juice and chopped fresh parsley to brighten the flavors. Taste the sauce and add salt as needed.
  5. Serve Warm: Remove the saucepan from heat and serve the sauce warm over your favorite seafood, chicken, steak, or vegetables.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought Cajun seasoning or create your own blend using paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne, and black pepper.
  • For a creamier variation, stir in a splash of heavy cream just before serving.
