Description

These Breakfast Sliders are a delicious and hearty morning treat, featuring fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, savory sausage, and melted cheddar cheese all nestled inside soft slider buns. Perfect for brunch or a make-ahead breakfast, they combine classic breakfast flavors with convenient slider portions, baked to golden perfection with a flavorful butter and herb topping.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, cut in half
  • 6 breakfast sausage patties, cooked and halved
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved

Egg Mixture

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Spread & Topping

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the assembled sliders.
  2. Prepare Buns: Slice the slider buns horizontally but keep the bottoms connected as one piece. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form the base layer.
  3. Make Scrambled Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat and pour in the egg mixture. Cook gently while stirring occasionally until the eggs are softly scrambled. Remove from heat once cooked but still soft.
  4. Prepare Spread: In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly on the cut side of the top slider buns.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Layer the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom buns, followed by the bacon halves, sausage halves, and halved cheddar cheese slices. Carefully place the top buns, spread side down, over the filling.
  6. Add Topping and Bake: Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and dried parsley, then brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the buns. Cover the baking dish loosely with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  7. Finish Baking: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has fully melted.
  8. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the sliders warm for a satisfying breakfast or brunch option.
