Description

Delicious and fun Bacon Cheeseburger Bites made with savory meatballs, crispy bacon, melty American cheese, fresh lettuce, and juicy cherry tomatoes. Perfect as a party appetizer or snack, these bite-sized treats combine the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in an easy-to-assemble finger food.

Ingredients

Scale

Meatball Layer

  • 18 Farm Rich meatballs (cooked as per package directions)

Bacon Layer

  • 5 strips of bacon (cooked until crisp and cut into at least 18 pieces)

Vegetables

  • 1-2 large leaves of iceberg lettuce (cut into 18 small pieces)
  • 9 cherry tomatoes (cut in half)

Cheese

  • 2 slices American cheese (cut into at least 18 small squares)

Assembly

  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Prepare Meatballs and Cheese: Place a small square of American cheese on top of each pre-cooked meatball. Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 2-4 minutes until the cheese just begins to melt.
  2. Assemble Bites: Stack each bacon cheeseburger bite by placing a cheese-topped meatball as the base, followed by a piece of crispy bacon, a small piece of iceberg lettuce, and finally top with half a cherry tomato. Secure each assembled bite with a toothpick to hold the layers together.

Notes

  • You can prepare the bacon and meatballs ahead of time to speed up assembly.
  • For extra flavor, consider brushing the meatballs with a bit of BBQ sauce before adding the cheese.
  • These bites are best served fresh but can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to one day.
  • To easily cut the cheese and bacon into small squares or pieces, use kitchen scissors or a sharp knife.
